Sesethu Makinana
If I could describe my experience at Mbasane Women in IT in one word, it would be transformational. The program was thoughtfully structured and executed to teach us industry-relevant technical skills, ensuring our relevance in the ever-changing ICT sector.
My journey began in 2018 when I was placed as an intern in a globally recognized organization in the industry. Mbasane considered all aspects of our professional development, mentoring, supporting, encouraging, and challenging us to optimize the opportunity to its fullest capacity.
Today, I am permanently employed. I credit my success to Mbasane and strongly encourage the initiative to individuals wanting to thrive in IT.

Nompumelelo Thabethe
My name is Nompumelelo Thabethe, I joined Mbasane Women in IT at the beginning of September 2021.
And through Mbasane, I have been exposed to courses such as McKinsey & Company Forward Program & AWS which has contributed so much into my growth in this industry.
I was then placed at a private company as an intern which later I became their permanent employee and Sis Pindiwe the Director of Mbasane Women in IT has been a great support structure in this journey.
Being part of Mbasane Women in IT was incredibly instrumental in my personal growth and professional development, I enjoyed my tenure with the company and I feel honoured to have been part of the team for the past years.

Ziyanda Mkhonde
Thank you for the exciting opportunity as an Intern at Mbasane Women in IT for the period of three years. It was an excellent learning experience and it allowed me to confirm my interest in pursuing my career as an IT engineer.
I really value the support the company offered me during this time. It was a great journey with the Company and the staff around, not forgetting the trainings we had with Mrs Filtane I learned so much from her.

Nokulunga Mthembu
My name is Nokulunga Mthembu and I Joined Mbasane Women in IT in 2021 and was placed at Dimension data as an intern in 2021 reporting to Pindiwe Filtane as my manager.
The company has given me opportunities to do additional certificates to uplift my skills. To name a few, I have studied and obtained business management training certificate, the Forward Learning program from McKinsey & Company and AWS Cloud Practitioner course.
I cannot express enough gratitude for the opportunity to be part of the company and I believe I am where I am today because of the opportunities granted to me by Mbasane.
I was recently offered a role as a Telco L1 Engineer at Dimension Data and I would not be where I am if it wasn’t for Mbasane Women in IT. I will forever be appreciative to the company for taking me and exposing me to these amazing opportunities and opening up doors for me.
